I hold a B.Sc in mechanical engineering , an M.Sc in mechanical engineering in combined power generation cycles (steam and gas turbines) , and PhD in management information systems, my researches on managing dynamics of human resource and knowledge management in organizations using system dynamics modeling. Before embarking on my academic career, I worked in government organization, latterly advising firms on the implementation of system dynamics in management.

Teaching : I have an experienced academic with over 10 years of teaching, I have teached many courses such as, mathematics, statistics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, vector mechanics, power plant, small business management, system dynamics module, supply chain management, total quality management, steam turbines, gas turbines, time management modules,and management information system modules on under and postgraduate and executive programmes. Beside that i supervised many BSc students to completion and currently I supervising one doctoral student, two MSc students. Their work has covered many topics such as the maintenance management in aerospace sector, and the implementing of the feed back information in the safety programme within petrochemical sector, and total quality management, human resource planning, small business management and system dynamics modeling. Also I am working as a researcher in the health sector specially in applying electronic medical records in Libyan hospitals.

Administration : Since joining the Higher institute of Industrial Technology , I had been the head of mechanical engineering department (1996-2000), and member of committee science. Currently dean of the Higher Institute of Industrial Technology.
